Asin Thottumkal dumps Neil Nitin Mukesh by text?

Asin Thottumkal reportedly dumped boyfriend Neil Nitin Mukesh by sending him a text message.

The actress has not spoken to Mukesh since the split, according to Mumbai Mirror.

Sources told the paper: "Strangely the two are poles apart - she's controlling and fiercely ambitious, he's fun-loving and easy going. Like every other couple, they too had fights; teething problems, if you please. But the real trouble began when Asin started getting close to Salman Khan.

"She was bonding with everyone from John [Abraham] to Akshay [Kumar]. Even though all this was for work and to sign big films, Neil felt he was getting sidelined."

Mukesh and Thottumkal have been romantically linked since they were cast in Pocketmaar in 2010. The film, to be directed by Ravi Chopra, is currently in pre-production.

In June, speculation over their relationship made Mukesh tweet that he is definitely single.

The insider added that Thottumkal had insisted their relationship remain secret from the press.

They also claimed that she had ignored the actor's text messages and phone calls before ending the relationship.

"His phone calls and messages went unanswered for days. Her 'it's over' text was the final nail in the coffin. The two have gone their separate ways since," the source said.
