The actors are uncomfortable with playing homosexual characters in the upcoming Tarun Mansukhani project, reports Mumbai Mirror.
This will be the second time that Mansukhani has reworked the long-delayed screenplay.
Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham have confirmed that they will reprise their roles of friends pretending to be gay from the 2008 release.
Abraham spoke to Digital Spy earlier this year about the follow-up. "Dostana 2 has moved to London because Abhishek's mother [Kirron Kher] is from there," he said. "She wants her son and his best friend in London for some crazy thing that she is up to.
"So it is even funnier now and I think it is going to create a laugh riot in the auditorium."
Dostana is often credited as Hindi film's first gay-themed commercial release.
