Deepika Padukone: 'Amitabh Bachchan is a legend'

Deepika Padukone has said that she enjoyed working with Amitabh Bachchan.

The actress revealed that she will always remember playing the veteran star's daughter in Aarakshan.

Padukone said: "I have always been in absolute awe of him so to work with him first hand is a memory I will cherish for my entire life."

The Om Shanti Om star noted that she initially had reservations working with someone with Bachchan's stature.

"It was incredibly nerve-wracking at first, but he is a very humble and kind human being and I got to learn so much from him. He is a true legend for me," she said.

Padukone also stars alongside Saif Ali Khan in Prakash Jha's project on the Indian government's policy on reservation.

Aarakshan is scheduled for release on August 12.
