Priyanka Chopra signs first record deal

The actress revealed that she has already started working on the album, to be released worldwide by Desi Hits and Universal Music Group.
She tweeted: "A long cherished dream is now taking flight and I am so very excited!
"I've already started working on the album. It's scary but so very exciting & I'm counting on UR support as I begin this exciting new journey.
"Music has always been a passion and now I have been given the opportunity to share it with the world. Wish me luck."
The Kaminey star will also appear in a hip-hop video with Bipasha Basu, dressed similarly to Beyoncé.
The video will be choreographed and styled by Ganesh Hegde, who was behind Lagaan.
Chopra has previously spoken about meeting Lady GaGa, who is touring India in August. The two met backstage at her concert at Madison Square Gardens in February.
