Mukesh Bhatt: 'I don't intend to work with Asin'

The long-running feud between Asin and Mukesh Bhatt has reignited, with Asin claiming that she turned down a film with the producer.

However, Bhatt denied that he had ever offered a role to the Malayalam actress, Mid Day reports.

"We don't work with 'stars'. If you look at our films, Bipasha Basu, Kangna Ranaut and Jacqueline Fernandez were all newcomers when they worked with us," he said. "So there's no question of working with Asin."

Bhatt claimed that Asin's PR company is inserting false stories into the media following his recent comment that she has no future in Bollywood.

"I never offered Asin a film, and I don't intend to," he added.

In 2009, Asin said that she felt the media were deliberately targetting her.

She is currently filming Sajid Khan's ensemble comedy Housefull 2.
