Kangna Ranaut dropped from 'Rascals' publicity?

Kangna Ranaut has allegedly been dropped from the publicity drive for new comedy Rascals because of her comments about her co-stars.

Ranaut reportedly said that it was not worth namedropping either Sanjay Dutt or Ajay Devgn as they were not comparable to Tom Cruise.

Dutt and Devgn asked for her name to be struck off the guest list for the film's first look, according to Mumbai Mirror.

However, an insider told the paper: "Kangna has no idea why such stories are surfacing about her. Sanju and Ajay are extremely warm to her.

"And she is always happy to work with people who want to work with her. However, she feels it's fine for people to have personal preferences otherwise."

The paper said that her former industry mentor Dharam Oberoi has decided to stop working with her because of his role as chief executive of Dutt's company.

In April, it was claimed that Ranaut had severed her formerly close ties with Dutt and his wife because she no longer thinks of them as "family".

The actress was reportedly chosen for the role in Rascals, in which she seduces both Devgn and Dutt's characters, because of her versatility on screen.
