Rajat Kapoor's latest film includes an "anti-corruption song" in support of campaigner Anna Hazare.
The black comedy also features Udaan star Anand Tiwari and Vinay Pathak.
Director Praveen Kumar told DNA that the song 'Sub Chor Uchhake Baba Ban' was "on the lines of the anti-corruption drive and the director thought it will be a good idea to shoot for a promotional video with it".
He added: "Coincidentally, the song talks about what is happening in today's society and supports Hazare's movement in a nice way.
"The song sung by Raghubir Yadav may have a strong connect with the movement, but that is incidental."
Aarakshan director Prakash Jha recently said that his latest project will be about corruption.
The controversial director also said that the movie will address concerns about censorship in the film industry.
Anna Hazare has been fasting for 11 days in a bid to highlight the depth of corruption in public life.
In May, veteran actor Anupam Kher had his home attacked by activists for commenting on Hazare's political fast.
