Chitrangada Singh 'unhappy with nude mutant scene'

Chitrangada Singh was reportedly replaced by Jacqueline Fernandez in Krrish 2 because she was unhappy about the nude scenes.

Krrish 2 is the follow-up to the 2006 science fiction superhero film starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra.

"Initially Chitrangda was most excited about the mutant's role," a source told New Kerala. "She had begun to read up as much as possible on the subject and had even begun physical preparation.

"The clothes, make-up, body language and speech quality were all discussed. Chitrangda had even begun to train in martial arts and had taken off to the US to try accelerated freefall skydiving.

"Though the mutant's role is stupendous it does require the actress to get down to an elemental level of self-revelation. That's where the problem came in."

Singh had blamed scheduling conflicts for her decision to drop out of the sci-fi blockbuster.

Priyanka Chopra will be reprising her role from the first movie, while Vivek Oberoi will play the villain this time around.

Singh will next be seen in Desi Boyz with John Abraham.
