The Dunno Y... Na Jaane Kyun star made the vow to strip, saying that sometimes bold actions have to be taken in order to implement change.
Parashar told The Times of India: "I will strip for Anna. He is like a God to me. I am totally inspired by Anna Hazare."
The actor elaborated: "I said it because I know for sure that in this country, if you have to do something, you have to take up a strong step."
The former Gladrags male beauty pageant winner added that the film industry stands behind the current anti-corruption movement.
"Today, Bollywood is fully supporting Anna's cause," stated Parashar. "There's nothing wrong in it. We're not supporting it as actors, we're supporting as Indians.
"I'm not doing anything for publicity. I'm just a normal person and I want to highlight the issues that cause problems for the society."
Parashar made his debut opposite Kapil Sharma in the gay-themed production, which has been described as a Hindi film version of Brokeback Mountain.
After screenings of the movie at festivals in the UK, US, Australia and Israel, the actor told Digital Spy: "I had never expected Dunno Y... would connect worldwide. I feel proud that I'm part of it and I'm sure the film will still go far."
Amitabh Bachchan will reportedly play an anti-corruption figure based on Hazare in Prakash Jha's next release.
