Naseeruddin Shah to star in marijuana film

The veteran actor takes the role of a reclusive farmer known as the "Colonel" in the low-budget Indian film.
The story is said to focus on the harvest period of the high potency variant of marijuana known as Blueberry Skunk.
The film has been shot in Hindi and English, with some dialogue in Tamil, Marathi and Malayalam.
Vipin Sharma, Aahana Kumra, PJ Unnikrishnan, Vinay Kumar and Yadu Sankalia also star in the project.
Shah was recently seen playing absent father roles in both Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and That Girl In Yellow Boots.
Directed by Anup Kurian, The Blueberry Hunt will release simutaneously with a graphic novel version on September 16.
