Vishal-Shekhar: 'Ra.One is our best ever'

Music director duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Rajviana have said that they have high expectations of their Ra.One soundtrack.

Speaking at the Film City launch of the project's music, the composers announced that it is one of their greatest works.

"This album is one of our best ever. It's complete, it's innovative, it's hooky and yet beautiful. It's also built for the biggest film of all time," they said.

"It's grand in every respect, from the kind of songs we have on it, to the collaborations that feature on it, whether with Akon or the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra."

The musicians said that listeners will appreciate the songs from the album even further with each repeated hearing.

"It's also one of those rare records that we've been working on, living with and listening to, for more than a year now, and the songs have only gotten better for us. We hope everyone who hears it will love this music as much as we do," said the music producers.

The music on the soundtrack ranges from classical to thumri-rock fusion and club sounds.

The Shah Rukh Khan film releases worldwide on a record number of screens during Diwali.
