Rajinikanth 'to shoot guest appearance in Ra.One'

Rajinikanth will reportedly make a guest appearance in Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One.

The Tamil cinema star is expected to film the sequence at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad in early October, reports Mumbai Mirror.

"In the sequence, he will deliver his super-hit dialogue from the film Bhasha," a source told the tabloid.

The cameo appearance with Khan will be the actor's first shoot since his recent illness and hospitalisation.

"Rajini has recovered. He will resume fully-fledged shooting from November. Till then he will be on rest," confirmed the actor's brother Satyanarayana Rao Gaekwad.

The scene pays tribute to the iconic dialogue delivery of Rajinikanth. Khan had originally planned to use a Rajinikanth lookalike until the Endhiran star agreed to perform the role.

Khan plays the role of G.One in his forthcoming project, with the title role from Ra.One performed by Arjun Rampal.

Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra have already filmed guest appearances in the superhero film.

Khan's production house has also launched a PlayStation video game to accompany the film, which releases next month.
