John Abraham: 'I want to get married'

John Abraham has revealed that he wants to get married in the future, despite his new playboy image.

The actor has been romantically linked with Deepika Padukone and a host of other Bollywood actresses since his break-up with long-term girlfriend Bipasha Basu.

Abraham told The Times of India: "I don't want to be known as a guy who is roaming around with five women. I was very fair in my relationship with Bipasha. I guess I need to change a bit now. I'll speak more frequently and clearly hereafter.

"I really don't know what my life holds for me. I am very happy with my present state of being. But I can fall in love again. I want to get married. Yes, I have this tag of the sexiest man but married men are attractive too."

Abraham famously revealed that he and Basu parted because he decided he did not want to get married after ten years of dating.

He added that rumours of a relationship with Padukone were false, after it was reported that she was comforting him over the split.

"I am overtly fond of Deepika. She is a lovely girl. But I was certainly not dating her. I have nothing to lose when these rumours make headlines. I just feel bad for the girls involved," he said.

Basu said this month that the break-up had not been amicable but that she has moved on and is enjoying attention from her male co-stars.
