Paris Hilton: 'I love you, India'

Paris Hilton arrived in Mumbai on Saturday for the start of a three-day promotional tour of India.

The heiress, who will be styled by Rocky S during her visit, is launching her handbag collection in the city.

A source told NDTV: "Even though it was early morning when Paris reached Mumbai she looked very excited and was very friendly at the airport.

"She has now reached the hotel and will rest for some time before starting her day."

The socialite later tweeted: "Yay! So excited! This is going to be an amazing trip!

"Wow! What a warm welcome into Mumbai. Hundreds of fans and media waiting for me when I landed... I love you India!"

Hilton is scheduled to meet several Bollywood stars during her stay.

Shah Rukh Khan was rumoured to be hosting a party for the wealthy socialite, but said that he would be unable to do so due to time constraints.

"I am busy with RA.One so it is little difficult for me to do it. Some friends were planning to host a party. But since I could not make for the party then they said... let it be. So we are not hosting it now," Khan told reporters.
