Atul Agnihotri has said that he may make a follow-up to Bodyguard.
The director suggested that the climax of the commercially successful film offers potential for a sequel, Hindustan Times reports.
Agnihotri said: "It's a possibility. As far as Bodyguard goes, the story can be taken forward."

He added that the type of character lead Salman Khan plays in the project allows for a range of possible storylines.
"Lovely Singh is a bodyguard, so he can fit any situation or genre. And he isn't married nor does he have kids. But we haven't begun thinking on those lines yet," he said.
However, Agnihotri said that a sequel will not happen immediately as Khan is currently shooting Yash Raj Films project Ek Tha Tiger.
