'Rockstar' cast celebrate Dandiya festival

The cast of Rockstar have celebrated the Dandiya festival at a number of events in Gujarat.

Ranbir Kapoor introduced debut actress Nargis Fakhri to audiences in Ahmedabad as part of the promotional campaign.

Kapoor and Fakhri made their stage entry on a hydraulic crane, performing folk dance choreographed moves.

Fakhri wore a traditional 'ghaghra choli' for the event, greeting fans in state language Gujarati.

Rockstar, directed by Imtiaz Ali, revolves around a Delhi musician who resents the fact that he has no pain in his life and attempts to get his heart broken.

Rockstar was the last acting project of Shammi Kapoor, who died aged 79 in August.

AR Rahman has composed the soundtrack to the production.

Rockstar will release worldwide on November 11.
