Anil Kapoor supports Dalton McGuinty in election win

The actor, who visited the Canadian politician on October 2 for lunch, further demonstrated his support by attending a rally in Brampton.
When asked if he subscribed to McGuinty's party ideology, the Slumdog Millionaire star said: "I didn't go for ideological reasons. I went as a friend to support Dalton. I was in Canada in June and we hit it off so well.
"Since then, we have become good friends. When he requested me to come there for a big event, I went - but as a friend."
Kapoor's support for McGuinty saw T-shirts and badges printed, stating: "I'm with Anil Kapoor on Team McGuinty."
On learning about McGuinty's recent win, Kapoor said: "I am so thrilled. It is a victory of good governance."
