John Abraham: 'I'd work with Bipasha Basu'

John Abraham has revealed that he would be willing to appear on screen with his ex-girlfriend Bipasha Basu.

The Force star broke up with Basu in January after deciding against marrying the actress, who he had been dating for nearly ten years.

Abraham told Hindustan Times: "Yes, why not [act with her]? I don't know what's going to happen, but I would love to work with her.

"At some point, if an offer comes and we are the only options in the cast, I would surely consider it. I think that's the best way to respond."

Abraham added that he was fed up with the playboy image created by the press since he broke up with Basu.

"Contrary to my image, I am a very serious and conservative person," he said. "I don't think it's fair to call me frivolous. And it's unfair for women because I go unscathed, but they suffer. Be it Genelia [D'Souza], Deepika [Padukone] or Chitrangada; it's not fair for them."
