Anushka Sharma to team up with Shahid Kapoor for romance?

Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma are to team up for Maneesh Sharma's third film for Yash Raj.

The Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl director decided to pair up the two stars after seeing them together in Badmaash Company.

A source told The Times of India: "The last time that Anushka and Shahid worked together was in the YRF production, Badmaash Company.

"Their on-screen chemistry was so convincing that many thought that it stemmed from an off-screen romance.

"And after watching Shahid's performance in Mausam, YRF and Maneesh decided that Anushka and Sasha were an apt pair for the film."

The source added that the romantic comedy is being scripted by Jaideep Sahni, who wrote Bunty Aur Babli, Chak De and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

However, Maneesh Sharma's spokesperson did not confirm the rumours.

They told the paper: "Maneesh is still shooting Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl. He will complete his next script and finalise the cast after the release of Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl on December 9."

In September, it was rumoured that Anushka Sharma will be appearing opposite real-life boyfriend Arjun Kapoor in another Yash Raj project.
