'Rockstar' recreates traditional Kashmiri culture

The filmmaker wanted to be as accurate as possible for a scene depicting a Kashmiri Hindu wedding.
Designers Manish Malhotra and Akki Narula reportedly spent a considerable amount of time sourcing traditional attire for the scene, during a trip to the north Indian state.
The Jab We Met director also apparently took advice from local people watching the filming process to ensure that authenticity was maintained.
Third-generation actor Ranbir Kapoor reportedly suffered depression during the filming of some emotional content.
Rockstar marks the last acting project of Shammi Kapoor, following his recent death at 79.
Rockstar releases in cinemas worldwide on November 11.
