Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan spend Diwali in UK

A large number of Bollywood actors will be in the UK over the Diwali period.

According to DNA, a number of high-profile Indian cinema events are scheduled to take place next week, including the Ra.One premiere, and the unveiling of Kareena Kapoor's statue at Madame Tussauds, Blackpool.

Kapoor, whose partner Saif Ali Khan recently lost his father, stated: "Though I love celebrating Diwali with friends and family, this time it will be a low key one.

"However, I will be accompanied by mum in London to attend the premiere of my next film. I'll then be unveiling my wax statue there."

Kapoor also announced that she would be filming scenes for Reema Kagti's new film with Aamir Khan.

"Aamir too will be there shooting for the film that we are doing together, and we have worked our dates accordingly," she added.

The actress will join Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Rampal at the Ra.One premiere in London on Tuesday.

The cast of the sci-fi film are meeting press in the afternoon. They will reportedly later watch the film with other industry figures including Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra at The O2.

Shahid Kapoor is currently in London as part of a ten-day European holiday. Sharman Joshi is also scheduled to be in the UK over Diwali for work commitments.
