Esha Deol 'could be engaged to businessman'

Esha Deol is rumoured to be engaged to Bandra businessman Bharat Takhtani.

The actress, whose comeback film Tell Me O Khuda releases next week, was reportedly seen with Takhtani and friends at a surburban nightclub.

An alleged friend told The Times of India: "Esha and Bharat are engaged. They have been in a serious relationship for a very long time. They will talk about it only after Esha's film Tell Me O Kkhuda releases.

"They are very much in love. They were seen painting the town red. They looked cosy and very comfortable in each other's company."

When asked about her relationship with the businessman, the Dhoom actress said: "We are just good friends. Bharat and I have known each other since forever. He is also friends with Ahana. We hang out every other day."

The 28-year-old star denied any engagement rumours. "My engagement would be a grand affair. Why would I want to hide it from the world? It will be a proud moment for me. There is no ring on my finger."

Deol has always maintained that she would not have an arranged marriage, but her parents' approval is of the utmost importance to her.

Tell Me O Kkhuda releases on October 27.
