Jacqueline Fernandez replaces Sonakshi Sinha in 'Race 2'

Jacqueline Fernandez has replaced Sonakshi Sinha in Race 2.

The actress was dropped from Krrish 3 because of her refusal to do a kissing scene, according to media reports.

A source told Mumbai Mirror: "Sonakshi was initially brought on board for the same role.

"But since she cited date issues as a reason to opt out, the filmmakers were in search of a replacement. And so, Jacqueline has been roped in [for] the role."

Producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed the story, adding that production will begin in November.

The sequel to 2008's Race - which stars Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham - has had other casting problems.

Deepika Padukone returned to the project this month after receiving a pay increase.

Padukone nearly dropped the film because its schedule clashed with another production which also stars her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
