Hema Malini denies 'Tell Me O Kkhuda' is a flop

Hema Malini has denied that her film Tell Me O Kkhuda is a flop.

The actress's second directorial venture stars her daughter Esha Deol in the leading role.

She told New Kerala: "It's you people (the media) who say [that] it flopped. Tell Me O Kkhuda is doing well and it did not flop as you people are saying.

"Unlike RA.One, it has [far] less print so it is doing well accordingly."

Malini recently received praise from critics for casting her daughter in Tell Me O Kkhuda.

Veteran actress Rekha commented: "She is far beyond her age, I am proud of her performance. I am pleasantly surprised.

"She never ceases to amaze me. Esha has matured as an actor and a person but has managed to retain that childlike quality, just like her mother."

Deol recently claimed that she had put off making a comeback until her mother's film because she had been unable to find challenging roles.
