Shahid Kapoor to work with Amitabh Bachchan?

Shahid Kapoor is reportedly facing the choice of either working with his father for the first time or acting alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

The actor was most recently seen starring in Bollywood veteran Pankaj Kapoor's directorial debut Mausam.

A source told the Mumbai Mirror: "Satyagrah is the story of a student and his mentor. And Prakash is keen on casting Shahid and Mr Bachchan in the two principal roles. It is a dream role which under normal circumstances Shahid would have been really happy to be a part of.

"But this will clash with Bhavna Talwar's film where he will get to star with his father Pankaj Kapoor. Shahid will now have to choose between the two."

Pankaj has said it was his son who first inspired him to become a director.

The established actor also described his son's performance in Mausam as his most "mature" to date.
