Kushal Punjabi plays negative role opposite Deol in 'Rock the Shaadi'

Kushal Punjabi will return to Hindi film after a four-year break in Navdeep Singh's Rock the Shaadi.

The actor will be seen playing a negative role opposite Abhay Deol in the zombie-themed production, claims The Times of India.

"I am a huge fan of Navdeep Singh, who directed Manorama Six Feet Under. So when the chance to work with these two guys came my way, I literally jumped and grabbed it," said Punjabi.

The actor last featured in the West London-based Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, and Nikhil Advani's ensemble project Salaam-e-Ishq.

Punjabi continued: "I can't reveal much, but I play Prithvi, who's parallel to Abhay. We both have different personalities, and the dynamics between us is one of the highlight of the film. My role is intense yet fun."

The star was a contestant earlier this year on Zor Ka Jhatka, the Indian television version of action show Wipeout.
