Shiney Ahuja to appear in horror film

Shiney Ahuja will be seen in his first film since he was found guilty of raping his maid last year.

The Life... in a Metro actor was given a seven-year sentence but released on bail by the Bombay High Court.

Director Puja Jatinder Bedi told DNA India: "The film revolves around the city hospital as it witnesses a chain of blood curdling chilling murders - uncanny happenings at the hospital.

"Today, audiences are intelligent and mature and they need to see some real horror. I aim to scare them.

"I am surprised with the increased and growing appetite for horror films. I am looking forward for a great response and hope the audience love this film."

In May, Ahuja's wife Anupam said that her husband had received no support from Bollywood because he was not into networking.
