Vivek Oberoi has revealed that he found it difficult to confront Shah Rukh Khan on screen.
The two appeared together in the domestic drama Saathiya, co-starring Rani Mukerji.

He told Mumbai Mirror: "I had to confront Shah Rukh Khan. It was very challenging as a newcomer to stand across Shah Rukh, who I was such a fan of, and threaten his character.
"Even though the content of my character's dialogues were angry threats, the scene was an expression of pain, anguish and the fear of losing the love of his life forever!
"So while the anger and the threat had to look convincing, standing in front of an icon and stalwart such as Shah Rukh, the emotion of a scared boy had to come from a place of deep honesty."
Oberoi added that the 2002 film was one of the toughest scenes of his career.
"Thereby being one of the toughest scenes of my career! You say it looked effortless! But trust me, it wasn't effortless at all!
"Like I always do as an actor, I try to lose myself by immersing myself into the world of the character, thereby putting aside all my personal perspectives, prejudices and ideals. Once I transform into the character, no-one and nothing else exists," he said.
In October, Oberoi made friends with Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt again after a four-year rift over comments that Oberoi allegedly made about the latter's wife.
