A source told the Mumbai Mirror that the actor has been parkour training - which generally involves vaulting over objects in the urban landscape - in preparation for his role in Dhoom 3.
The source explained, "The main purpose of parkour is to teach participants how to move through their environment by vaulting, rolling, running, climbing and jumping, which will help Aamir for his sequences opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra."
According to the source, since the Dhoom franchise has been built on the successful escape of the antagonist, Khan's movements have to be swift.
After much speculation, the actor was confirmed as the villain in the third instalment of the Dhoom series.
Katrina Kaif was also confirmed to star alongside Khan after reaching an agreement over a 'no bikini' clause.
