Amitabh Bachchan: 'Aishwarya not too posh to push'

Amitabh Bachchan has revealed more details of the birth of his granddaughter.

The actor refuted stories that daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a caesarean section, saying Aishwarya had a normal delivery - without epidural or painkillers.

He tweeted: "The often coined phrase 'too posh to push' was put to rest in her case. She was determined to do it the way she felt was correct!"

The Paa star went on to describe the the baby.

"Occasionally she opens her large and what looks now to be eyes of the lighter hue, which those that have dealt with similar, know shall change with time," he said.

The veteran actor also acknowledged all suggestions for names sent in by fans, saying, "Some of them really good... will run it by the parents!!"

Abhishek said he cannot wait to take his wife and daughter home from the hospital.
