Deepika Padukone: 'I always turn to Ranbir Kapoor'

Deepika Padukone has revealed that she still turns to ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.

The former couple will be reunited on screen for the upcoming Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

She told DNA India: "The relationship that we had was beautiful. Right now, we are also in a lovely space where we talk to each other over anything. He is someone I consider my 4am friend. We are still very close to each other.

"He is a great guy and one of the few close friends that I have in the industry. I am looking forward to working with him again on our film that begins in January.

"I loved his performance in Rockstar. I have already seen the film twice. And I can watch it many times more. In fact, I loved the film so much that now it is one of my favourite films of all time."

In July, it was reported that Padukone and co-star John Abraham had bonded over their respective splits with Kapoor and Bipasha Basu.
