The actress, who will be seen next in Desi Boyz, made the comments during a recent TV interview, Hindustan Times states.
"If I get an offer to do a film opposite Himesh Reshamiya, I would accept it," said the model-turned-actress.
Padukone said that Reshamiya's popularity as a music director had influenced her decision to appear in one of his earlier videos.
"I had decided, I would never do two things; work in a music video and participate in Miss India. However, I accepted Himesh's Naam Hai Tera Tera album as Himesh's songs were a rage at the time," she said.
The actress shot the music video in 2006, prior to making her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om.
Padukone's Desi Boyz, with John Abraham and Askhay Kumar, releases on Friday.
