John Abraham: "I am very conservative"

John Abraham has described himself as "very conservative".

The actor can be seen playing one half of a male stripping team in the upcoming Desi Boyz.

He told Mumbai Mirror: "I am one of those overtly conservative people. I get very shocked when I hear about youngsters making out in clubs. I am conservative but the way I am projected is completely opposite.

"I'm very protective about my personal life. I will never comment on it. Today, I will react like a tiger if anyone tries to interfere. In the past, my personal life has been open but now I have passed that stage.

"I just need to do a good film and have a good life."

The star was forced to deny newspaper reports that the film was in trouble because of its controversial content.

In September, Abraham denied that he has become a playboy since his break-up with girlfriend Bipasha Basu in January.
