The actor got the injury on the set of upcoming action comedy Bol Bachchan.
"The stitches that I got above my right eye after a small accident on the sets of Bol Bachchan had got infected, so had to reopen the wound," Bachchan wrote on Twitter.
"Actually, currently looking like a one eyed troll. Trying to make myself feel better, convincing myself that I look like Pacino in Scarface," added the Yuva star.
Bachchan stars alongside Ajay Devgn and South Indian actor Asin Thottumkal in the project.
The actor recently became a father for the first time.
The broadcast media in India were issued strict guidelines when covering the arrival of the baby.
