Hrithik Roshan beats Shahid Kapoor to 'Sexiest Asian Man'

Hrithik Roshan has been declared 2011's 'Sexiest Asian Man in the World'.

The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara star topped the survey conducted by Eastern Eye, beating Shahid Kapoor into second position.



"Hrithik is a worthy winner and a leading man with global appeal. This year there was a massive gap between Hrithik and the rest of the competitors," said Asjad Nazir, Eastern Eye showbiz editor.

"He is the perfect ambassador for India and someone who could take on anyone in Hollywood in terms of looks, talent and likability," Nazir added.

Roshan rose two places to take the top spot from his 2010 position of three.

Shah Rukh Khan took third position in the 50-strong list, as last year's winner Ranbir Kapoor fell to number six.

Other Bollywood males in the poll include John Abraham (7), Akshay Kumar (9), Arjun Rampal (11), Imran Khan (12), Saif Ali Khan (13), Atif Aslam (16), Abhishek Bachchan (17) and Prateik Babbar (20).

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor was this year voted the 'Sexiest Asian Woman' in the world, beating last year's winner Katrina Kaif.
