Anushka Sharma: 'I put Ranveer Singh in hospital'

Anushka Sharma has revealed that she was responsible for hospitalising co-star Ranveer Singh.

The actor said that she inadvertently crashed a scooter carrying Singh during the filming of Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl.

Sharma said: "When we reached the hospital we realised that Ranveer had a bad burn, a very terrible burn and he was so sick for the next three days - almost a week, actually. It was a tough time."

The star also recounted an incident where the two actors had a minor jet ski accident shooting on location in Goa.

Sharma explained: "I am a very good swimmer but when we were on this jet ski and we fell, the jet ski toppled and me and Ranveer, and I started waving my arms and flapping.

"When I [got] back to the beach I was thinking, 'Why the hell was I flapping', as I know how to swim. I realised that when you fear you are going to drown, you forget that you can swim."
