The actor is currently shooting the drama Players with co-stars Bipasha Basu and Sonam Kapoor.
He told DNA India: "Personally, the style I like is something that comes across as real. I work towards making it very casual and real. I tend to lean more towards that, than making it perfect.
"There is a way to say a dialogue, but I like it when I go against that. I think today's generation will get that, but I don't think the older generation will, because they have been brought up in a particular style.
"I remember when Marlon Brando came out in A Street Car Named Desire. People were used to correct pronunciation, enunciation with Richard Burton with his wonderful performances and suddenly came this guy, terribly good-looking, brilliant actor, but he mumbled."
Bachchan reportedly styled himself for Players, which is a remake of British classic The Italian Job.
