Deepika Padukone 'rekindles Yuvraj Singh friendship'

Deepika Padukone has reportedly rekindled her friendship with ex-boyfriend Yuvraj Singh.

The former couple had earlier stopped speaking to each other following the breakdown of their relationship, Mumbai Mirror reports.

"Deepika and Yuvraj hadn't parted amicably. They even avoided each other on more than one occasion. However, recently Deepika picked up the phone and called him," a source close to the cricket player revealed.

"Yuvraj was pleasantly surprised. The conversation did not last too long. After a few days she again told him 'Get well soon'."

Padukone is said to have broken off their relationship in 2008 after the release of her debut film Om Shanti Om.

"This peeved Yuvi no end as he felt that he wasn't getting enough attention from her," added the source.

The actress is currently dating Siddharth Mallya, who she began seeing after her break-up with fellow actor Ranbir Kapoor.

In July, it was reported that Padukone and co-star John Abraham had bonded over their respective splits with Kapoor and Bipasha Basu.

The actor was last seen in Desi Boyz with Abraham and Akshay Kumar.
