Karan Johar: "Dostana 2 is definitely starting next year"

The Dharma Productions head announced the news on his Twitter account.
Johar posted: "DOSTANA 2 is definitely starting next year....Script is locked...abhishek and john are ready!!! the boys are back!! Tarun is all set.... (sic)."
The second instalment in the gay-themed comedy reunites lead couple Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham.
Katrina Kaif is reported to have replaced Priyanka Chopra in Tarun Mansukhani's long-delayed sequel.
Lead actor John Abraham gave Digital Spy an insight into the follow-up in an interview last year.
"Dostana 2 has moved to London because Abhishek's mother (Kirron Kher) is from there," Abraham said.
"She wants her son and his best friend in London for some crazy thing that she is up to. So it is even funnier now and I think it is going to create a laugh riot in the auditorium."
