The Desi Boyz star said actors should not be placed in any category and that he is not in the race for the top spot, bollywoodworld.com reports.
"We are not fighting for any title. We are not race horses that you bet on them. We all actors are in one fraternity and we do films so that our industry progresses and not because we want to fight with each other for a title," said the 44-year-old actor.
Kumar, who has performed his own stunts ever since his debut film Saugandh in 1991, confessed that he still gets nervous while doing some risky action sequences.
"I have done a lot of action in which I get really scared. But it's more of a good fear that I feel. Like a human body, which has good cholesterol and bad cholesterol, similarly we have good fear and bad fear," he explained.
Known as the "original khiladi", Kumar is working on a new action film titled Khiladi 786, which he is co-producing with Himesh Reshammiya.
The actor also presents the action gameshow Khatron Ke Khiladi.
