Salman Khan reportedly stopped fellow members of the Celebrity Cricket League coming to a private party.

The actor's producer brother Sohail was celebrating his birthday with members of his cricket team Mumbai Heroes at an exclusive Hyderabad hotel.

A source told Mumbai Mirror: "The idea was to bring in Sohail's birthday and so members from his team Mumbai Heroes were invited. Just when the party was getting started and Salman was in high spirits, other team players, who were at the official CCL party, gate crashed.

"Sallu's (Salman) party was rather happening. The drinks were flowing and the crowd was good, tempting the outsiders to join in the merriment."

They added: "Some bouncers did not know who is who and pushed some of the team players away a bit too roughly. A notice that read 'Only for Bollywood' was quickly posted outside the party venue."

Khan reportedly tried to make amends with the rejected players by inviting them to the party after realising his mistake.

In September, the Bollywood veteran said that Sohail would make a better bodyguard than him because he was better at handling difficult situations.
