The actress took to Twitter to sound off about the traffic in India's entertainment capital, and home of Bollywood.
Kapoor posted: "It's impossible to live in Mumbai. I hate it."
The Aisha star later blamed her frustration with the city on its infrastructure.
"Okay the traffic has driven me crazy. I actually luv Mumbai but hate the roads (sic)," she explained.
After receiving criticism for her views on the social networking site, Kapoor went on to state that she was not being serious when she wrote the original post.
The second-generation star added: "Dude my rants about traffic are not to be taken seriously. And anyone who does is a dumbo.. Psshttt.."
The actor recently said that she blocks "obnoxious" people on Twitter. Kapoor has suffered recurring bouts of ill health throughout 2011.
The star will be seen next in the Abbas-Mustan action thriller Players.
