'Dirty Picture' beats 'Ra.One', 'Kolaveri Di' in mobile video views

The Dirty Picture has beaten Ra.One and Kolaveri Di as Vuclip's most watched mobile video of 2011.
Content from the Vidya Balan film amassed over 1.3 million hits on the world's largest independent mobile video company, ahead of 800,000 views for Shah Rukh Khan's sci-fi movie and over 300,000 for the various interpretations of Dhanush's viral Tamil-English track.
Salman Hussain, Vuclip's regional business development and managing director, said: "When we launched Starlight Cinema last month, we were convinced that Indian mobile users love Bollywood and regional language cinema.
"Findings of our year-ender trend analysis for India reaffirm our belief."
Vuclip's analysis of over 570 million mobile video views from November also featured a number of Bollywood celebrities in their most-searched-for statistics.
Sonakshi Sinha beat Ashley Tisdale, with Kareena Kapoor taking third place, Katrina Kaif ranked seventh and Jacqueline Fernandez in ninth position.
