'Agent Vinod', 'Housefull 2' release dates announced

Eros International has announced the release dates to some of its biggest films of 2012.

The production company has revealed details of a number of upcoming films due to come out in the first quarter of next year.

Nandu Ahuja, senior vice president of India Theatrical, Eros International, said: "We have an exciting lineup for the coming year, and we are expecting these films to garner some good numbers in the first half of the year."

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor action drama Agent Vinod is scheduled to release March 23, the company reports. The cast also includes Ravi Kishan, Adil Hussain, Ram Kapoor and Prem Chopra.

Housefull 2, which renunites Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh in the second instalment of the comedy, will release April 5.

Kunal Kohli's untitled Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra production, which has been partially shot in the UK, will be out June 22.

Imtiaz Ali's as-yet-undisclosed Production No. 3, starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Diana Penty, Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani and Randeep Hooda, releases in cinemas on July 13.

The company had a number of box-office successes in 2011, including Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Rockstar and Ra.One.
