The Bengali star will be seen next in the multi-starrer film Players.
"You should be ready to make some sacrifices in the film. You can't have egos there," Basu said at a promotional event for the forthcoming film, according to IANS.
"When you are working, you are not thinking about male or female co-stars. I would talk about all the co-stars. I am blessed to have such co-stars in the film. It was fun. We travelled extensively for the film, we stayed away from our homes. They became like an extended family," she added.
Basu famously fell out with co-star Kareena Kapoor on the set of Ajnabee. Kapoor recently indicated that she was happy to work alongside other female stars as long as she had the most substantial role.
The former model has featured in a number of ensemble productions, including Race, Bachna Ae Haseeno and Dum Maaro Dum.
Basu stars with Sonam Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sikander Kher in the January 6 remake of The Italian Job.
