Sonam Kapoor: 'Taking clothes off isn't brave'

Sonam Kapoor has claimed that it is not brave to wear a bikini on screen.

The actress recently decided against wearing a two-piece for her role in the action caper Players.

Kapoor told DNA India: "In my personal life, I have always been bold from the clothes I wear to how I talk. For me boldness does not necessarily mean stripping. I think people have wrong notion about boldness.

"For me, bold is being different. I dress differently and so people have started talking about it. I have also been bold with my choice of characters."

The Aisha star added: "Bipasha [Basu] is already wearing a bikini in the film so I don't think it was necessary for me to do the same. I don't have the body for it."

Victoria Beckham praised Kapoor this week after the Bollywood star was snapped in one of her designs.
