Kareena Kapoor: 'Saif conned me into doing action in Agent Vinod'

Kareena Kapoor has said that Saif Ali Khan conned her into doing action sequences in Agent Vinod.

According to The Hindustan Times, the actress - who has previously refused to do stunts in her films - was coerced into doing so for the spy thriller.

"Yes, it's true. I have always stated that action stuff isn't for me but for Agent Vinod, I ended up doing a lot of stunts," said Kapoor.

"He (Khan) would keep saying, 'it's not tough. And you look very good doing stunts'. And now, I keep telling Saif that he made me do stunts throughout the film saying the same thing."

The actress reportedly injured herself while shooting a stunt sequence for the film earlier in the year, suffering a sprained neck when she fell from a safety harness.

The action sequences in the film have been choreographed by Prince of Persia stunt coordinator Cedric Proust.

Kapoor said she hopes to follow the action thriller with a romantic film with fiancé Khan as her co-star.

"I would like to do a romantic film - something along the lines of Hum Tum (2004 movie directed by Kunal Kohli) - with Saif. I really hope someone soon offers us a story like that soon," she said.
