Emraan Hashmi: 'I am still down-to-earth'

Emraan Hashmi has claimed that he is "still down-to-earth" despite his recent Bollywood success.

The Dirty Picture star will next be seen in Murder 2 opposite former Bigg Boss star Sunny Leone.

He told Hindustan Times: "I am as grounded as I was five years back. Tags like stars and superstars aren't something that I take too close to my heart.

"I know that as much as people would love to give such tags to someone, they are easily taken away as well. I would rather stay away from such temptations.

"It was always about great scripts. From the very first day of The Dirty Picture, I knew what was the size and duration of the role. Still, despite a relatively shorter role, I found the script quite intriguing."

In December, the actor revealed that he has taken his first break from filming in two years.
