Karan Johar receives marriage offer

Dharma Productions' head Karan Johar has received an offer of marriage through a Delhi-based businessman.

Johar was contacted by the father of a potential suitor, who also included photographs of his daughter with the proposal, claims The Times of India.

"Karan was in Delhi recently, and the girl happened to meet him at an event. She fell for KJo at first sight and told her daddy that she wanted to marry him. Last week, the businessman sent a formal proposal, along with the girl's pictures, to Karan's office," a source revealed.

The 39-year-old bachelor's personal life has been a topic of intense media speculation in India.

The filmmaker earlier spoke about the subject on Simi Garewal's chatshow India's Most Desirable.

"Obviously if you are single, you are 39, there will be conjecture about your sexuality and your orientation," he said. "I have no problem with that, and I am very comfortable with hearing all kinds of rumours that float around."

The director reportedly turned down the role of a sex maniac in Saat Khoon Maaf.

Johar has Agneepath, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Student Of The Year and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani due for release this year.
