Ranbir Kapoor's car was allegedly attacked at an event in Delhi, after the actor refused to pose for photographs.

The fourth-generation actor had refused to pose with a group of security guards at the 11th edition of the Delhi Auto Expo on Tuesday (January 10), claims The Times of India.

"The guards wanted Ranbir to pose with their friends for a picture. When he refused, they lost it, surrounded his car. They refused to let the car move and started banging on the bonnet," a source revealed.

"There was complete chaos. It [was] only when the guards at hall 18 intervened that he could leave."

The incident is said to have occurred as the star attempted to leave the expo.

Kapoor pays homage to his grandfather Raj Kapoor in an advert for the Nissan brand in India.
